I'm moving back to Australia in about 90 days.
After four years of living here, I'm collected a lot of crap. So much throwing out to do. I swear it's the worst part of moving.
I don't have a job lined up yet but I'm staying optimistic.
The new principal at my school has some very interesting expectations.
This list is specifically for the elementary school I work at, but I've heard a few of these from teachers at other schools too.
1. I am not allowed to give lunchtime detentions. Students must have time to relax
2. I am not allowed to give after-school detentions. Students must be able to go to their extra-curricular activities.
3. I am not allowed to send students into the hallway to think about why their behavior is inappropriate. If you send them outside, you're interfering with their learning.
